ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE PLAT OF MONTICELLO ACRES, SECTION ONE, A SUBDIVISION
OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AS HEREIN DESCRIBED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI ,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . Elmer F. and Lorene B. Goldammer, owners of the
real estate hereinafter described and situated in the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, have submitted to the Council a plat of said
real estate, being located in Jefferson City, County of Cole,
Missouri, and more particularly described as follows:
Part of the West Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 3
and part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 10, all in Township
44 North, Range 12 Test , in the City of Jefferson, County of
Cole, Missouri, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said Section 3, thence
northerly along the Section Line N 03° 57' 10" W, 1920. 79 feet ;
thence leaving said Section Line N 80° 23 ' 42" E, 252.01 feet ;
thence N 790 52 ' 22" E, 156 . 56 feet ; thence S 030 57' 10" E,
740. 83 feet ; thence S 84° 24 ' 12" E, 233 . 39 feet ; thence S 74°
44 ' 50" E, 202 . 50 feet ; thence S 070 02 ' 59" W, 214 .00 feet ;
thence N 870 31 ' 59" E, 147.43 feet ; thence S 09° 55 ' 20" E,
435.48 feet ; thence S 78° 54 ' 24" W, 190. 00 feet ; thence S 33°
06 ' 53" W, 547. 00 feet to a point on the South Section Line of
said Section 3, point also being the northwest corner of a tract
of land as described in Book 200, Page 190, Cole County
Recorder ' s Office; thence southerly along the easterly line of
said tract 250. 53 feet ; thence N 880 14 ' 15" W, 101 .26 feet ;
thence S 050 11 ' 09" E, 229.03 feet to a point on the northerly
right-of-way line of Country Club Drive (Old U. S. Route 50) ;
thence westerly along the northerly right-of-way line of said
Country Club Drive along a curve to the left having a radius of
2915 .00 feet ,, a distance of 362 . 66 feet to the southwest corner
of a tract of land as described in Book 225, Page 937, Cole
County Recorder ' s Office ; thence leaving the northerly right-of-
way line of said Country Club Drive northerly along the westerly
line of said tract 185. 96 feet; thence N 85° 30 ' 27" E, 191 . 38
feet ; thence N 050 02 ' 23" W, 268. 99 feet to a point on the South
Section Line of said Section 3; thence westerly along said
Section Line S 84° 54 ' 19" W, 191 .40 feet to the point of
beginning. Area containing in all 31 . 77 acres .
SECTION 2. It appears that said plat has been duly and
properly signed and accepted by the owners of said subdivision
known and referred to as Monticello Acres, Section One, that all
taxes have been paid, and that in all respects the requirements
of Chapter 445, Revised Statutes of Missouri, and amendments
thereto, entitled, 'Plats", have been fully complied with by the
aforesaid owners of said subdivision, and that in all respects
the requirements of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the
City of Jefferson, Missouri , relating to plats and subidivison,
have been complied with..
SECTION 3. The plat of Monticello Acres , Section One ,
lying, being and situated within the corporate limits of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, as shown by the said plat hereto attached
and made part of this ordinance , is hereby approved and accepted
by the C" Council of the City of Jefferson, and the Mayor and
the City Clerk are authorized and directed to endorse acceptance
of said plat thereon and to certify to the approval of said plat
under the seal of the City of Jefferson, Missouri.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of passage and approval.
