AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT
WITH L.AGE, EVERS AND COMPANY FOR SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE
AUDIT OF CITY RECORDS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Cleric of ,the City of Jefferson
are hereby authorized to execute a contract with Lage, Evers and
Company for services in connection the audit of City records for
a sum not to exceed $1, 500.
Section 2. The contract shall he substantially the same in
form and content as that contract attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.

Dear Bobby:
This letter is to put into writing our discussion of the audit
for the City of Jefferson Health Care Plan Trust Fund.
To complete this audit it is going to be necessary for one of
our staff to go to Mission, Kansas and spend a day at the
administrator's office to review their claim files, as well as
claim payables.
We estimate total time incurred in connection with audit trust
to incur 311 man days for which our fee will fall between $1,100 and
$1,500, barring any unforeseen problems with the records maintained
by the administrator's office. Mileage, meal and motel
reimbursement will be in addition to the above figure. I have
discussed the necessity of this trip with Mayor Hartsfield so that
he is aware that it needs to be done.
