AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING SECTION
12-5(b) OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON TO REFLECT A CHANGE
IN THE FEES CHARGED BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR COPIES OF REPORTS.
WHEREAS, it is hereby found and declared that the vote at
the election held in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, on February
5, 1985, on Proposition 8 resulted as follows :
Yes - 1, 956 votes
No - 1, 500 votes
WHEREAS, it is hereby found and declared that a majority of
the qualified voters of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, voting
on said Proposition 8 voted "yes" .
WHEREAS, it is further found and declared that notice of
said election was duly given by publication in the manner
provided by law, and that said election was held and conducted in
all respects in conformity with the Constitution and laws of the
State of Missouri.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 12-5(b) of the Code of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri is hereby amended to read as follows:
For copies of reports, the fire department shall charge
three dollars ( $3 . 00 ) , plus ten cents ( $0. 10) per page for
copies over and above the report.
Section 2 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
