ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,
AMENDING, AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
BY AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 9598 BY REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED IN
RECENTLY ANNEXED TERRITORY SITUATED IN THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF
SECTION 4 , TOWNSHIP 44 NORTH, RANGE 12 WEST, IN THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, COUNTY OF COLE, MISSOURI, FROM RS-1 (SINGLE FAMILY) TO
RA-2 (MULTIPLE FAMILY) .
WHEREAS, IT APPEARS THAT THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN ORDINANCE
NO. 9598, THE ZONING CODE, RELATING TO ZONING HAVE IN ALL MATTERS
BEEN COMPLIED WITH.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following described real estate is rezoned
from RS-1, Single Family, to RA-2 , Multiple Dwelling:
Part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 4 , Township 44
North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson, County
of Cole, Missouri, more particularly described as
follows :
From the southwest corner of said Section 4 ; thence
along the west Section Line of said Section 4 , and the
west line of Mall Ridge Addition, Section 2, as
recorded in Plat Book 11, Page 90, Cole County
Recorder's Office, N 040 10' 08" W, 1763. 77 feet to the
northwest corner of said Mall Ridge Addition, Section
2; thence easterly leaving the said Section Line along
the north line of said Mall Ridge Addition, Section 2,
and the north line of Mall Ridge Addition, Section 1,
as recorded in Plat Book 10, Page 54, Cole County
Recorder's Office, and the north line of Mall Ridge
Addition , Section 3, as recorded in Plat Book 11, Page
93, Cole County Recorder's Office, N 860 52 ' 59" E,
1450.51 feet, more or less , to the Quarter Quarter
Section Line and existing City Limits Line, and point
of beginning of this description; thence northerly
along said Quarter Quarter Section Line and existing
City Limits Line, 1027. 72 meet to the Quarter Section

Line and the southeast corner of a tract of land as
recorded in Book 218, Page 243, Cole County Recorder's
Office; thence westerly along said Quarter ,Section Line
and southerly line of said tract S 85" 57 ' 52" W,
1187.09 feet; thence leaving the said Quarter Section
Line S 62° 02 ' 08" E, 862 .00 feet; thence S 42° 05 ' 01"
E, 336.49 feet; thence S 160 07' 01" E, 310.00 feet to
the north line of said Mall Ridge Addition, Section 1;
thence easterly along said north line of said Mall
Ridge Addition, Section 1, and the north line of said
Mall Ridge Addition, Section 3, N 860 52 ' 59" E, 166. 77
feet, more or less, to the point of beginning.
Containing in all 12 acres, more or less .
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
