AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERESON, MISSOURI , AMENDING THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, BY AMENDING SECTIONS 26-
96, 26-97 AND 26-98 CONCERNING DISCHARGE OF WASTE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 26-96 of the City Code of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby amended by the deletion thereof
and enactment of a new section in lieu thereof to read as
follows:
No person shall discharge or cause to be discharged
wastewater to the POTW containing concentrations in excess
of the limitations as set forth for the following
substances:

Arsenic (As) 0. 1
Cadmium (Cd) 0. 003
Chromium (Cr) (total) 2. 91
Copper (Cu) 0. 65
Cyanide (CN) 2. 5
Lead (Pb) 0. 5
Mercury (Hg) 0. 10
Nickel (Ni) 0. 13
Zinc (Zn) 1. 64
Section 1, Section 26-97 of the Code of the City of
Jefferson is hereby amended by the deletion of paragraphs (b) and
(c) .
Section . Section 26-98 of the Code of the City of
Jefferson is hereby amended by changing the period at the end of
that section to a comma and the addition of the fallowing
language:
"provided however, that under no circumstances will a
wastewater containing priority pollutants in excess of
federal , state or local standards be allowed to be
discharged into the POTW."
Section This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and aft r the date of its passage and approval.
