AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING,
AMENDING, AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY REZONING LAND AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF
SOUTH COUNTRY CLUB DRIVE AND FAIRGROUNDS ROAD FROM RS-2 (SINGLE
FAMILY) TO C-4 (PLANNED COMMERCIAL) .
WHEREAS, IT APPEARS THAT THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN THE ZONING;
CODE RELATING TO ZONING HAVE IN ALL MATTERS BEEN COMPLIED WITH,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following described real estate is rezoned
from RS-2, Single Family, to C-4, Planned Commercial:
Land in the southwest quarter of the southeast
quarter of Section 8, Township 44 North, Range 12 West,
in the City of Jefferson, County of Cole, Missouri,
being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of the southeast
quarter of Section 8, Township 44 North, Range 12 West;
thence N 860 201 E, 242.15 feet to the westerly right-
of-way line of Fairgrounds Road; thence N 20' 42 ' E,
907.24 feet along said westerly right-of-way line to
its point of intersection with the southerly right-of-
way line of South Country Club Drive; thence the
following courses and distances, S 450 52 ' W, 156.9
feet; S 58' 04 ' W, 420 .8 feet; and S 570 41' W, 162 .45
feet along said southerly right-of-way line to the
quarter section line; thence along the quarter section
line S 50 19 ' E, 448.05 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
