ORDINANCE NO. �--
AN ORDINANCE RELINQUISHING CERTAIN EASEMENTS FOR UTILITY PURPOSES
OVER LAND LOCATED IN COLONIAL HILLS SUBDIVISION IN JEFFERSON
CITY, MISSOURI .
WHEREAS, by a plat dated November 8, 1984, and recorded in
Plat: Book 11, Page 225, of the Records of Cole County, Missouri,
a utility easement was granted to the City of Jefferson, a
municipal corporation, to excavate within, install, construct,
maintain and repair structures for the routing and conveyance of
utilities in, under and through the lots , tracts or parcels of
land described in Section 1;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council finds that the following described
easements are surplus property of the City and are no longer
needed for any public purpose:
Strips of land 5.0 and 7. 50 feet of even widths across a
part of Colonial Hills Subdivision in the City of Jefferson,
County of Cole, Missouri, as per plat of record in Plat Book
11, page 225, Cole County Recorder's Office. The said 5.0-
and 7 .50-foot strips of land being more particularly
described as follows :
Being the 5.0-foot utility easement lying adjacent to and
extending the full length of the westerly line of Lot Nos .
21, 26 and 31; the easterly line of Lot Nos. 30, 35, and 36;
and the easterly and westerly lines of Lot Nos. 22, 23, 24 ,
25, 26, 28, 29 , 32, 33, and 34 of Colonial Hills Subdivision
described above, except for the northerly and southerly 5. 0
feet thereof.
Also, being the 7 .50-foot utility and drainage easement
lying adjacent to and extending the full length of the
westerly line of Lot No. 30 and the easterly line of Lot No.
31 of Colonial Hills Subdivision described above, except for
the northerly and southerly 5. 0 feet thereof .
Section 2. The easements described in Section 1 are hereby
relinquished, and the City does hereby release and abandon
whatever interest it has in the easements .
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute any necessary legal document relinquishing all of the
City's interest in the tracts of ground described in Section 1.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force And affect
from and after passage and approval.

RELEASE OF UTILITY EASEMENT
WHEREAS, by a plat dated November 8, 1985, and recorded in Plat Book 11,
page 225-, of the Records of Cole County, Missouri, Utility Easements were
