AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CLERK TO ACCEPT AN AMENDED GRANT FROM THE URBAN MASS
TRANSPORTATION ADMINISTRATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING A
GENERAL PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION PROJECT FOR OPERATING EXPENSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Jefferson, Missouri, has received
approval on a grant amendment application under Section 18 of the
Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to
accept the amended grant in the sum of $198, 616 front the Urban
Mass Transportation Administration, said grant Amendment No. 1,
Project MO-18-X00 to be substantially the same in form and
content as that document attached hereto and made a part hereof
by reference.
Section 2 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.

WHEREAS, the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission
and the City of Jefferson entered Into an Agreement dated
Oct. 5, 1984 to fund a public transportation project pursuant to
Section 18 of the Urban Maas Transportation Act of 1964, as amended.
NOW THEREFORE, said Agreement is hereby amended as followa:
1. Paragraph 17, Section a, is amended to increase the
federal share reimbursement to grantee for net operating
costs to an amount not to exceed $198 616 ,
2. The Agreement between the parties hereto dated
Oct. 5. 1984 shall remain in full force and
effect except as amended hereby.

on the date last written below.
