ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON BY DELETING SECTION 24-1 PERTAINING
TO THE CHIEF OF POLICE, AND ENACTING A NEW SECTION 24-1 IN LIEU
THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 24-1 of the Code of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby deleted.
Section 2 . A new Section 24-1 is hereby adopted which shall
read as follows:
"Sec. 24-1. Chief of police generally.
The . chief of police shall serve under the direction of the
city administrator. "
Section 3 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
