ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO PURCHASE CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE
CITY AND TO EXECUTE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS CONNECTED THEREWITH.
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
purchase property located at 214 E. Ashley Street in the City of
Jefferson, for the sum of $ 31, 500 . 00 and to execute
necessary documents connected therewith.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.

AGREEMENT
1. The City of Jefferson, Missouri, a municipal corporation, and
Ethel L. Kolar, have this day, executed a deed for the sale of
real property located in the City, and described as follows:
The northeasterly part of Inlot No. 987, in the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northeasterly corner of said Inlot No. 987;
thence westerly along Ashley Street, 49 feet 84 inches;
thence southerly parallel with Monroe Street, 125 feet 3
inches; thence easterly parallel with Ashley Street, 49 feet
8h inches to the easterly line of said Inlot No. 987; thence
northerly along said easterly line, 125 feet 3 inches to the
point of beginning.
2. The. City and Ethel L. Kolar hereby agree that Ethel L. Kolar
may occupy any building located on the above-described property
for thirty (30) days after the date this agreement is signed by
Ethel L. Kolar. The City and Ethel L. Kolar further agree that
this section of the agreement shall not vest in Ethel L. Kolar
any rights, real or personal, in the above-described property,
nor shall it give Ethel L. Kolar any right to rent, or cause to
be rented, any building on the above-described property to any
person, partnership, corporation, or other entity.
3. The City and Ethel L. Kolar hereby agree that Ethel L. Kolar
may, within thirty ( 30) days after this agreement is signed by
Ethel L . Kolar, remove, demolish, destroy, or cause to be
removed, demolished, or destroyed, any building on the above-
described property. The City and Ethel L. Kolar further agree
that the costs of any removal, demolition, or destruction shall
be borne by Ethel L. Kolar, and that Ethel L. Kolar and any
person, partnership, corporation, or other entity carrying out
said removal, demolition, or destruction shall cause the City,
its officers, agents, and employees to be held harmless
indemnified from any claims or suits of any person, partnership,
corporation, or other entity stemming from such removal,
demolition, or destruction. The City and Ethel L. Kolar further
agree that Ethel L. Kolar shall give prompt notice to the City of
' such removal, demolition, or destruction.

4. The City and Ethel L. Kolar hereby agree that Ethel L. Kolar
shall cause the City to be held harmless and indemnified from any
claims or suits of any person stemming from any action by Ethel
L. Kolar pursuant tothis ag ement.
