ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING
SCHEDULE J OF SECTION 18- 401 OF THE CITY CODE BY PROHIBITING
PARKING ON PORTIONS OF WEST MAIN STREET, HOOVER ROAD, EAST
MILLER STREET AND SWIFTS HIGHWAY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Schedule J (a) , of Section 18--401 of the City
Code is hereby amended by prohibiting parking as follows:
Main Street, west, on the north half thereof, from Jaycee
Drive to Route 179.
Hoover Road, on the west side thereof.
Miller Street, east, on the north side thereof, for a
distance of 100 feet east of the east curb of Cherry Street.
Swifts Highway, on the south side thereof, for a distance of
78 feet east of the east curb of Myrtle Street.
Swifts Highway, on the south side thereof, for a distance of
57 feet beginning at a point 226 feet east of the east curb
of Myrtle and ending at a point 283 feet east of the east
curb of Myrtle.
Swifts Highway, on the south side thereof, for a distance of
102 feet beginning at a point 503 feet east of the east curb
of Myrtle and ending at a point 505 feet Past of the east
curb of Myrtle.
Swifts Highway, on the south side thereof, for a distance of
433 feet west of the west curb of Carter Street.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage and approval.
