ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING CHAPTER
18 OF THE CITY CODE TO APPLY PROHIBITIONS AGAINST LEAVING THE
SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT ON PARKING FACILITIES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 18-101 of the City Code is hereby amended
to read as follows :
No person operating a vehicle on a roadway, any publicly or
privately owned parking lot, or any parking facility
generally open for use by the public, knowing that an injury
has been caused to a person or damage has been caused to
property, due to the culpability of the operator or to
accident, shall leave the place of such injury, -- age, or
accident without stopping and giving his name •-idence
address, motor vehicle number and chauffeur's Lstered
operator's number, if any, to the injured par to any
person exercising control over the damaged prof ., .
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its opa/ssage and approval.
