AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , CHANGING,
AMENDING, AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE
CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY REZONING 49. 966 ACRES FROM RS-1 ( SINGLE
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) AND RA--1 (LOW DENSITY MULTI-FAMILY) TO RS-2
(SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) .
WHEREAS, IT APPEARS THAT THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN THE ZONING
CODE RELATING TO ZONING HAVE IN ALIT MATTERS BEEN COMPLIED WITH,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . The following described real estate is rezoned
from RS-1 (Single Family Residential) and RA-1 (Low Density
Multi-Family) to RS-2 (Single Family Residential) :
A part of the East Half of the Southeast Quarter of
Section 8, Township 44 North., Range 12 West, in the
County of Cole, Missouri, and being more particularly
described as follows :
Beginning at the southeast corner of said Section 8;
thence S 85° 06 ' 16" W, along the Section Line, 1350. 72
feet to the southwest corner of the Southeast Quarter
of the Southeast Quarter_ of said Section 8; thence N
06° 10' 44" W, along the Quarter Quarter Section Line,
1813 .67 feet to -the southerly line of Country Club
Drive; thence easterly along the southerly line of said
Country Club Drive on a curve to the right, having a
radius of 1338.21 feet, with an arc length of 125. 10
feet, and a chord bearing of N 280 57' 39" E, with a
chord length of 125 .05 feet to a point on the westerly
line of a tract of land as described in Book 214 , Page
533, Cole County Recorder's Office; thence S 43° 52 '
31" E, along the west line of said tract, 150. 19 feet
to the southwest corner thereof; thence N 47° 50' 07"
E, along the southerly lines of the tracts of land as
described in Book 214, Page 533; Book 210, Page 571;
Book 213, Page 110; Book 213, Page 107; Book 172, Page
388; and Book 168, Page 513, Cole County Recorder' s
Office, 477 .43 feet to the southeast corner of the
tract of land as described in Book 168, Page 513; said
point being on the westerly line of a tract of land as
described in Book 174, Page 130, Cole County Recorder' s
Office; thence S 22° 04 ' 38" E, along the westerly line
of said tract, 118.60 feet to the southwesterly corner
thereof; thence N 50° 24 ' 29" E, along the southerly
line of said tract, 120.00 feet to the southeast corner
thereof; thence N 220 02' 34" W, along the easterly
line of said tract, 352.57 feet to the southerly line
of said Country Club Drive; thence N 500 25 ' 59" E,
along the southerly line of said Country Club Drive,
35. 28 feet to a point on the westerly line of a tract
of land as described in Book 174, Page 205, Cole County
Recorder's Office; thence S 230 30' 47" E, along the
westerly line of said tract, and the southeasterly
extension thereof, 1512.22 feet; thence S 490 24 ' 15"
E, 295. 19 feet; thence N 83° 41' 12" E, 80.00 feet to
the Section Line; thence S 06° 18' 48" E, along the
Section Line, 760. 00 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing in all, 49.966 acres . Bearings are
magnetic.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
