ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE
CONTRACT WITH THE CONSORTIUM OF GOVERNMENTAL COUNSELORS, INC. FOR
CONSULTING SERVICES WITH THE JEFFERSON CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The contract with the Consortium of Governmental
Counselors, Inc . , is hereby amended by:
(a) Extending the period of continuing service of section 4
of said contract (Plan C) from six ( 6 ) months to twelve ( 12 )
months .
(b) Adding a new section to the contract which shall read as
follows: "Section 10. The total amount to be paid pursuant to
this contract shall not exceed $18 , 290. 50. "
. (c) Adding the following paragraph to said contract:
"Section 11. Nothing contained in this contract shall be
construed to authorize any role in the selection and screening of
a new police chief to the Consortium of Governmental Counselors ,
Inc. "
Section 2 . This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.

RE: Missing Ordinance
It has come to racy attention that Ordinance No. 10594, passed by
Council on February 17, 1986, approving a three month extension
of the Consultant Contract at the Jefferson City Police
Department is missing from the ordinance book. Both the
ordinance and the contract are missing.
If you have the original of these, or any information pertaining
to this ordinance and contract, please let me know.
