This means that at least a quorum of the members of the public body will attend the meeting in person and members of the public are welcome to attend in person as well. As a courtesy only, access to the meeting is also being provided via remote means in accordance with applicable law. Please note that while an option for remote attendance and/or participation is being provided as a courtesy to the public, the meeting/hearing will not be suspended or terminated if technological problems interrupt the virtual broadcast or affect remote attendance or participation, unless otherwise required by law. Liaison Mary Chaffee L Saturday, September 30th at the Sea Camps Bay property dining hall. fl. 10 AM to 12 PM - Opportunity for people who would like to learn about the opportunities to become involved in local government. Everyone from all the Boards and Committees will be available to discuss what they do and getting new people interested in appointment or running for local office. Iii. 12-1 pm —Thank you luncheon for all the volunteers. 1. Superintendent Anderson to bring water bottles, maps of hydration station locations and Consumer Confidentiality Report. 6. Drought status update. a. The water level continues to drop but slowly compared to the previous two years due to summer demand. b. Average precipitation over the winter months hopefully will put Brewster in a good position going into the spring months compared to the past two years. c. Superintendent Anderson explained to the Water Commissioner the water department can continue as a voluntary restriction or normal status. i. Commissioner Baran and Commissioner Skidmore to leave the voluntary restriction for the next couple of months. 7. Superintendent's Report a. Tank Update i. One tank is almost complete and will start filling the tank next week. ii. Exterior paint complete, Interior of tank was cleaned with pantonite, touch up areas painted. Need to allow interior paint to cure, disinfect the interior of the tank, fill the tank with water and test for VOC's and coliform. :iv. Need to receive negative test results before the second tank can be drained. v. Once negative results are obtained then the second tank will be drained and rehabbed like the first tank. ,vi. Saved a significant amount of money compared to doing a complete rehab on both tanks. b. Installation of pipe for hydration station at Long Pond Landing complete. c. Stony Brook and Eddie School now have filtered, chilled water hydration stations installed. d. Lead and Copper sampling ` i. Confirm corrosion control treatment of water is working. e. Foremen interviews completed. i. 2 Candidates applied. 1. One Internal and One External candidate applied. 2. Committee to think about over the weekend and make decision on Monday, September 11tH 8. Assistant Superintendent's Report a. Department Head Meeting 9. Office Manager's Report a. Working with Treasurer Collectors Office during lien process. Trying to collect funds before the cutoff date of Wednesday, September 61H b. Seasonal Turn Off Season i. Mailed letter along with Administrative Assistant Amy Taber's business card. 1. The letter gives owners information and a point of contact for all seasonal turn off requests. 10. Approval of Meeting Minutes a. Table until October Meeting 11. One Time Reduced Rates a. 305 Jonathan's Way— Running Toilet b. 237 Crocker Lane— Leak after meter pit c. 30 Point of Rocks — Leak after meter pit d. 311 Wauquanesit Drive — Frozen plumbing r i.
