OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, LEVYING AND ASSESSING A SPECIAL TAX BILL AGAINST THE LOTS OR TRACTS OF LAND FRONTING AND ABUTTING ON W. MAIN STREET IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF INSTALLING SIDEWALKS ON SAID ROADWAY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this Ordinance, against the aggregate cost or tracts of land fronting or abutting on W. Main Street in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement of installing sidewalks on said roadway, the sum of $2,904.93 as total costs of the improvement of said roadway, amount to 2,770.32 front feet; the cost price per front foot is $1.03 per front foot on property which had existing curb and gutters. Section 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of said road- way, there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of $1.03 as a special tax against each front foot of ground fronting or abutting said roadway, and contained in such lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said improved roadway. Section 3. The name of each property owner or owners and the description of each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting on each side of said roadway and the number of front feet owned by each owner or owners and contained in the lots or tracts of land so owned and abutting said roadway and the cost price per front foot for said improvement and the amount hereby levied and assessed as special tax for said improvement against each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said roadway is listed as follows: daft Page 2 Sidney C. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to make out special tax bills in favor of the Contractor, Twehous Excavating Co. , Inc„ Jefferson City, Missouri, for the within-mentioned work in accordance with the ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relative to said kind of work in accordance with the Ordinance of said City in regard to said work.
