HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD10601 BILL NO. _ U SPONSORED BY COUNCILMAN ORDINANCE NO. n/ All ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, LEEVYING AND ASSESSING A SPECIAL TAX BILL .AGAINST THE LOTS OR TRACTS OF LAND FRONTING AND ABUTTING ON SOUTH TEN MILE DRIVE IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, FOR THE IMPROVEMEh'T OF SAID ROADWAY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cost . price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this Ordinance, against the aggregate cost or tracts of land fronting or abutting on South Ten Mile Drive in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement of said roadway, the swim of $24,211.73 as total costs of the improvement of said roadway, amount to 3,228.23 front feet; the cost price per front foot is $7.50 per, front foot on property which had existing curb and gutters. Section 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of said road- way, there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of $7.50 as a special tax against each front foot of ground fronting or abutting said roadway, and contained in such lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said improved roadway. Section 3. The name of each property owner or owners and the description of each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting on each side of said roadway and the number of front feet owned by each owner or owners and contained in the lots or tracts of land so owned and abutting said roadway and the cost price per front foot for said improvement and the amount hereby levied and assessed as special tax for said improvement agaj-nst each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said roadway is listed as follows: Page 2 Gary W.
