ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AMENDING SECTION
18-156 OF THE CITY CODE REGARDING METER ZONES AND AMENDING
SCHEDULE N REGARDING THE LOCATION OF PARKING METER ZONES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 18-156 of the City Code is hereby
amended by deleting subsection ( f) and adding a new subsection
(f) , to read as follows:
(f ) Parking meter spaces within the parking meter zones
hereinabove established may be used for the parking of a
vehicle for the time periods established in this subsection
upon the deposit of five cents ( $0.05) for each thirty (30)
minute increment hereinafter prescribed:
( 1 ) Parking meter spaces within Parking Meter Zane A may be
used for parking a maximum of one hundred and twenty ( 120 )
minutes.
(2 ) Parking meter spaces within Parking Meter Zone B may be
used for parking a maximum of sixty ( 60 ) minutes .
(3 ) Parking meter spaces within Parking Meter Zone C may be
used for parking a maximum of ten ( 10) hours .
Section 2. Schedule N, as referred to in Section 18-401 of
the City Code, is hereby amended by deleting the entire schedule
and adding a new schedule N as attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.

SCHEDULE N. PARKING METER ZONES
Rp Pursuant to Section 18-156, parking meter zones are established
at the following locations:
(a) PARKING METER ZONE A. ( 2-hour limit )
All metered parking spaces on city parking .lots shall be in
Zone A, unless specifically designated to be in a different zone.
Adams Street, both sides of the two hundred block thereof.
Adams Street, the east side of the 300 block thereof, above
the alley extending north to High Street.
Broadway Street, the east half of the two hundred block
thereof, except for the last six parking spaces north of the
southeast corner.
Broadway Street, the west half of the two hundred block
thereof, eleven spaces south of northwest corner.
Capitol Avenue, the north side thereof, between a point
located two hundred and twenty feet west of the west curb of
Jefferson Street and Adams Street .
Capitol Avenue, the south side thereof, between a point
located two hundred and twenty feet west of the west curb of
Jefferson Street and Adams Street .
High Street, the north side thereof, between Broadway Street
and Jackson Street.
High Street, the south side thereof, between a point located
two hundred feet east of the east curb of Washington Street:. and
Jackson Street.
High Street, west, the south side of the two hundred block.
Jefferson Street, four spaces on the west side, north of the
north curb of Capitol Avenue.
Jefferson Street, two spaces on the east side, north of the
north curb of Capitol Avenue.
Jefferson Street, the east side thereof, "between Capitol
Avenue and Miller Street.
Jefferson Street, on the west side thereof, between Capitol
Avenue and McCarty Street.
Madison Street, both sides thereof, between State Street and
Miller Street.
Main Street, west, both sides of the three hundred block
thereof.
McCarty Street , east, on the north side thereof, between
Jefferson Street and Monroe Street.
Miller Street, west, six spaces west of the west curb line
of Jefferson Street.
Miller Street, east, on the north side of the one hundred
block thereof.
Monroe Street, on the east side thereof, between Capitol
Avenue and McCarty Street.
Monroe Street, on the west side thereof, between Capitol
Avenue and McCarty Street.
Washington Street, the west side thereof, six spaces south
of the south curb line of High Street.

(b) PARKING METER ZONE B. ( 1-hour limit )
City Parking Lot, ten spaces on the west side of Lot #1,
located in the two hundred block of Jefferson Street .
Broadway Street, both sides of the two hundred block
thereof.
High Street, west, the south side of the three hundred block
thereof.
McCarty Street, west, on the north side of the three hundred
block thereof.
(c) PARKING METER ZONE C ( 10-hour limit )
Adams Street, both sides of the one hundred block thereof.
Adams Street, the 300 block thereof, except for a two-hour
zone on the east side extending north of the alley to High
Street.
Broadway Street, six parking spaces north of the southeast
corner of the two hundred block thereof, to be designated as
handicapped parking.
Capitol Avenue, east, the north side of the 400 block.
Jefferson Street, both sides of the one hundred block
thereof, extending south from the alley to Capitol Avenue, except
for the last two spaces on the east side and the last four spaces
on the west side north of the north curb of Capitol Avenue.
Jefferson Street, on the west side of the four hundred block
thereof.
Main Street, west, both sides of the four hundred block
thereof.
Main Street west, both sides of the five hundred block
thereof.
McCarty Street, west, both sides thereof,. between Jefferson
Street and Broadway Street.
McCarty Street, east, on the south side thereof, between
Jefferson Street and Monroe Street.
Miller Street, west, on the north side of the one hundred
block thereof, except for six spaces west of west curb line of
Jefferson Street.
Miller Street, east, both sides of the two hundred block
thereof.
Monroe Street, both sides of the one hundred block thereof.
Monroe Street, both sides of the four hundred block
thereof.
State Street, east, on the north side of the two hundred
block thereof.
State Street, east, on the south side of the three hundred
block thereof.
State Street, east, both sides of the four hundred block
thereof.
Washington Street, both sides of the four hundred block
thereof.
