RESOLUTION APPOINTING THIRD PARTY CLAIMS
ADMINISTRATOR
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret ("the Borough") has
solicited quotation to perform Third Party Claims Administrator on behalf of the
Borough; and
WHEREAS, two quotes were received; and
WHEREAS, the Local Finance Officer has certified that funds are available; and
WHEREAS, Allied Risk Services provided the lowest quote;
- NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that Allied Risk Services ("Allied") hereby appointed as the
Third Party Claims Administrator at a cost not to exceed $5,100.00, effective July 1,
1998, subject to evidence from the Borough's Reinsurance Carrier that Allied is
approved;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this award is made without competitive
bidding in accordance with N.J.S.A 40A:l 1-5 et. seq. due to the specialized and
professional nature of the services;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of this action shall be published in the
Home News and Tribune on June 19, 1998.

and certified as a true copy of the
