ORDINANCE NO. �
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, VACATING AND
DISCONTINUING A PORTION OF A PUBLIC STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY AT THE
NORTHERLY LIMIT OF WOODRIDGE DRIVE.
WHEREAS, it has been shown to the City Council of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, that the owner of land adjacent to and abutting
upon Woodridge Drive adjacent to Lot 15 and part of Lot 14 in the Lahr
Subdivision, Section One in the City, has petitioned the City Council
to vacate right-of-way as a public street; and,
WHEREAS, it has further been shown that it would not
inconvenience the public or the citizens of the City to discontinue as
a right-of-way for a public street such street as described in Section
1 of this Ordinance:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Jefferson, hereby
declares it necessary, reasonable and proper to discontinue as a
right-of-way for a public street and forever vacate the following
described street in said City:
Part of Lahr Subdivision, Section One, per plat of record in Plat
Book 9, Page 79, Cole County Recorder's Office, being more parti-
cularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Lot 15 of said Lahr Subdivi-
sion, Section One; thence N 84° 42' 00" E, along the boundary
thereof, 60.00 feet to the East Line of Woodridge Drive; thence
S 05° 18' 00" E, along the East Line of said Woodridge Drive,
130.00 feet; thence Westerly along a curve to the left, having a
radius of 50.00 feet, a length of 64.35 feet to the West line of
said Woodridge Drive; thence N 05° 18' 00" W, along the West Line
of said Woodridge Drive, 130.00 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing in all, 0.169 acres.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
