AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING REAL
PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS, AUTHORIZING ITS SALE AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CLERIC TO EXECUTE A DEED.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The City Council finds the following real
property to be surplus property of the City, and as such
represents a burdensome cost, and the property is no longer
needed for any public purpose:
Lot No. 6, in Block No. 8, of Washington Park Addition
Section 2 . The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
sell the .property to Bernie Pleus, Jefferson City, Missouri, for
the sum of Thirty One Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ( $31, 900.00) .
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute a warranty deed relinquishing all of the City's interest
- in the tract of ground described in Section 1 . Said deed shall. be
substantially the same in form and content as the deed attached
hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 4 . The proceeds of the sale shall be designated- for
park purposes .
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.

WARRANTY DEED
BY MUNICIPAL CORPORATION
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That the City of Jefferson of the
County of Cole in the State of Missouri, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION
organized and existing under the laws of the :Mate of Missouri,
party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of
THIRTY-ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS ( $31, 900 ) to it paid by
Bernie Yleus of the county of Cole of the state of Missouri party
of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
and by virtue and in pursuance of an ordinance of the City
Council of said party of the first part, does, by these present ,
GRANT, BARGAIN, SELL, CONVEY AND CONFIRM unto the said party of
the second part his heirs and assigns, the following described
lots, tracts or parcels of land, lying, being and situate in the
County of Cole and State of Missouri, to wit :
Lot No. 6, in Block No. 8, of Washington Park Addition
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the premises aforesaid, with all and singular
the rights, privileges, appurtenances and immunities thereto
belonging, or in anywise appertaining unto the said party of the
second part, and unto his heirs and assigns forever. The said
party of the first part hereby covenanting that it is lawfully
seized. of an indefeasible estate in fee in the premises herein
conveyed, that it has good right to convey the same; that the
said premises are free and clear of any encumbrance done or
suffered by it or those under whom it claims, and that it will
Warrant and Defend the title of the said premises unto the said
party of the second part, and unto his heirs and assigns
forever, against the lawful claims and demands of all persons
whomsoever.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City of Jefferson
the said party of the first part has caused these presents to be
signed by its Mayor and attested by the City Clerk and its
corporate seal to be hereto affixed, this 25thday of _ June
