AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE MISSOURI
HIGHWAY AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION FOR A SUPPLEMENTAL GRANT TO
FUND AIRPORT IMPROVEMENTS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute a contract with the Missouri Highway and
Transportation Commission for a supplemental grant to fund
financial assistance in the amount of Forty-two Thousand Seven
Hundred Eleven Dollars ($42, 711 ) in state matching funds to
assist with a project described as follows,
Pave, mark and light runway and parallel taxiway extensions
to runway 12/30; expand and overlay apron; construct, mark
and light partial parallel taxiway to runway 26.
Section 2. The contract shall be substantially the same in
form- and content as that contract attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and afrer the date of its passage and approval.

SUPPLEMENTAL AIRPORT AID FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT AGREEMENT-`
AMENDMENT NO . 1
THIS SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT entered into by the Missouri
Highway and Transportation Commission (hereinafter, Commission) and
City of Jefferson (hereinafter, Sponsor) .
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the parties entered into an agreement dated
January 3 19 86 , (hereinafter, original agreement)
under which Commission granted the sum of $ 25,000 to Sponsor
to assist in specified airport capital improvement; and
WHEREAS, the amount of the original grant was the maximum
available at the time of issuance ; and
WHEREAS, an additional sum is required to satisfy the
state share of the project; and
WHEREAS, the Commission has sufficient funds from which
it can make an additional grant to the Sponsor;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is agreed as follows:
1 . The project time period will be from the date this agree-
ment is executed by the Commission until June 30 —, 19 86
2. Commission hereby grants to Sponsor an additional sum of
$ 42,711 for the airport capital improvement project as described
in the original agreement between the parties subject to the
following conditions.
A. The project will be carried out in accordance with the
previous assurances given by Sponsor to Commission.

B. Sponsor has obligated local funds in the amount of
105455.62 for the project described in the original agreement,
which is an amount sufficient to match this, and all previous
state grants provided for this specific project.
C. In the event state funds available to Commission under
section 30Sr230 RSMo are reduced so that Commission is incapable
of completely satisfying its obligations to all sponsors for the
current state fiscal year, Commission may recompute the amount of
this additional grant to provide all sponsors with a pro rata Share
of state funds available to Commission under section 305. 230 RSMo .
D. All other terms and conditions of the original agree-
ment entered into between the parties shall remain in full force
and effect.
