AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AMENDING
SCHEDULE A, (20 MPH/SCHOOL ZONES), OF SECTION 18-401 OF THE CITY
CODE BY DELETING SUBSECTION G AND ENACTING A NEW SUBSECTION G.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Schedule A (g) (20 MPH/School Zones), of Section
18-401 of the City Code is hereby deleted and a new Schedule A(g)
is enacted to read as follows:
(g) Twenty miles ger hour. No vehicle shall. be driven at a speed
in excess of twenty miles per hour on:
Aay, roadwaX in 2pX school zone, between the hours of 7: 00
A.M. and 5: 00 P.M. on any day that a school in or adjacent to the
zone is attended by children. The following roadways are school
zones:
Belair School
Belair Drive, between KerMac and orchard Lane.
Cedar Hills School
Aft Vieth Drive, from Oakridge Drive to Cedarbrooke Drive.
East School and Immaculate Conception School t
Benton Street, between High Street and McCarty Street.
Clark Avenue, between Miller Street and McCarty Street.
High Street, between Dawson Street and Gordon Street.
McCarty Street, between Locust Street and Gordon
Street.
Miller Street from Clark Avenue to Gordon Street.
Riverside Drive, between Capitol Avenue and High
Street.
Helias High School and Trinity Lutheran School
Swift's Highway, between Pamela Street and Jefferson
Avenue.
Moreau Heights School
Hough Park Street, between Isom Drive and Greenberry
Road.
Greenberry Road, south and within five hundred ninety-
five feet of the south curb of Hough Park Street.
Moreau Drive, between Hough Park Street and Leslie
Boulevard.
St. Joseph' s School
Main Street, between Westmore Street and a point on
Main Street three hundred feet east of Binder Drive.
St. Peter 's School
Broadway Street, between Main Street and High Street.
High Street, between Broadway Street and Mulberry
Street.

Senior High School
Franklin Street, between Jackson Street and Lafayette
Street.
Lafayette Street, between Franklin and eighty feet
south of Union Street to the track entrance.
Union Street, between Jackson Street and Lafayette
Street.
South School
Linden Drive, between Fillmore Street and Pamela Drive.
Southwest School
St. Mary's Boulevard , between Bolivar Street and
Michigan Street.
Thorpe Gordon School
Jackson Street, between Stadium Boulevard and Roland
Street.
West School
Boonville Road, north and within five hundred feet of
the north curb of Main Street.
Dix Road, south and within five hundred eighty feet of
the south curb of Main Street.
Main Street, between West Circle Drive and Donald
Drive.
East Elm Street, the westerly 400 feet of the sixteen
hundred block. thereof.
Elm Street, between Chestnut Street and Locust Street.
Miller Street, from Vetter's Lane east to the end of the
street.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
