AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AMENDING
SECTION 18-122, OF THE CITY CODE PERTAINING TO PROHIBITING
OPERATION OF CERTAIN VEHICLES ON A PORTION OF WEST MAIN STREET,
SEVEN HILLS ROAD, SCHELLRIDGE ROAD, AND SOUTHWEST BOULEVARD.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 18--122 of the City Code is hereby amended
to read as follows:
When signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person
shall operate any vehicle with a gross weight in excess of
18,000 pounds at any time upon West Main Street from Highway
54 to Jaycee Drive, Seven Hills Road from Greenberry Road to
Bald Hill Road, Schellridge Road from Jaycee Drive to
Country Club Road, and Southwest Boulevard from Stadium
Boulevard to Missouri Boulevard, provided that such
vehicles may be operated thereon for the purpose of
delivering or picking up materials or merchandise along that
portion of road.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
