AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH CAPITAL MALL
GENERAL GROWTH MANAGEMENT FOR "SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE. "
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute a contract with the Capital Mall - General
Growth Management for providing "Capital Mall Shuttle Bus
Service. "
Section 2, The contract shall be substantially the same in
form and content as that contract attached hereto as Exhibit "A. "
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.

SERVICE CONTRACT
This Contract made and entered into this ._�.�_' day of
1, ,•,, "ML ,y , 19 �A C. by Capital Mall - General Growth
Management , hereinafter called the "Capital Mall, " and the
City of Jefferson, Missouri, a municipal corporation, hereinafter
called the "City. "
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, Capital Mall - General Growth Management has
requested the City to provide "Capital Mall Shuttle Bus Service; "
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties to this contract agree to the
following:
1. Service. The City agrees to provide the Capital Mall
Shuttle Bus Service" to and from the Capital Mall, and the
Jefferson City Central Business District during the noon time,
Monday thru Friday, beginning December 1, 1986 through December
23, 1986.
2. Routes and Schedule. The established routes and
schedule will be continued except that mutually agreed changes
can be made. Any changes must be done in writing and approved by
the City Director of Transportation. The City shall provide for
printing and distribution of route maps .
3. Fare. This service will be provided free to the
General public.
4 . Payment. Capita. Mall - General Growth Management
agrees to pay the "City cost" of operation and administration of
the service. The "City cost" is the total service cost
( $2.00/mile times the number of route miles driven) less the
revenue consisting of federal assistance 36% of service cost.
The City will bill the General Growth Management at the end
of the contract period.
5. Term. The term of this contract will be December 1,
1986 through December. 23, 1986.
