ORDINANCE NO. /075`
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING REAL
PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS, AUTHORIZING IT SALE AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CLERK TO EXECUTE A DEED.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council of the City of Jefferson finds that
the following real property is surplus property of the City, and
as such represents a burdensome cost, and that the property is
not needed for any City purpose:
Part of Inlot No. 649 in the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the northwesterly corner of said Inlot 649
and running thence easterly along the northerly, line
thereof 104 feet 4 1/2 inches; thence southerly along
the easterly line of said Inlot 58 feet; thence
westerly parallel with Miller Street, 104 feet 4 1/2
inches to the westerly line of said Inlot; thence
northerly along said westerly line 58 feet to the place
of beginning.
Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to sell the property to the Housing Authority for the sum of
Twenty Seven Thousand Dollars ($27,000) .
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute a warranty deed relinquishing all of the City's
interest in the tract of ground described in Section 1. Said
deed shall be substantially the same in form and content as the
deed attached hereto *as Exhibit A.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
