PROPERTY TAX CANCELLATION AND REFUND
WHEREAS, Block 6106, lot 9 applied for a tax exemption under the provisions for a
total disabled veteran status in accordance with N.J.S.A. 54:4- 3.30et seq, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Assessor has reviewed and approved the application effective
4/23/20, and
WHEREAS, the Tax Collector is recommending that the following taxes be cancelled
accordingly:
2020 $3,306.06
2021 $2,394.27 plus any additional taxes assessed for the balance of the 2021 full
tax yen.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, New Jersey, that the Tax Collector cancel
taxes as set forth above and refund the overpayment in the amount of $4,503.20.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on April 9, 2021.
