HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD10788 BILL NO. 86-184 SPONSORED BY COUNCILMAN WOODMAN ORDINANCE NO. /c cif AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF Wi3,FFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMENDING, AND MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE ZONING CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, BY REZONING APPROXIMATELY 1.9 ACRES LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF IDLEWOOD ROAD AND STATE ROUTE C FROM RS-2 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO C-1 (NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL) . WHEREAS, IT APPEARS THAT THE PROCEDURES SET FORTH IN THE ZONING CODE RELATING TO ZONING HAVE IN ALL MATTERS BEEN COMPLIED WITH. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The following described real estate is rezoned from RS-2 ( Single-Family Residential ) to C-1 (Neighborhood Commercial ) : A parcel of land in the Northeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson, County of Cole, State of Missouri, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the southerly right-of-way line of Aft Supplementary State Route C and the northwest corner of a tract previously described in Deed Book 123, Page 393, Cole County Recorder's Office; thence southerly along the west line of the aforementioned tract, 250 feet; thence leaving said west line on a bearing of S 890 59 ' E, 300 feet: thence on a bearing of N 00 59 ' E to the southerly right-of-way line of Supplementary State Route C; thence southwesterly and northwesterly along said southerly right-of-way line to the point of beginning. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval. Schuricht to rezone approximately 1.9 acres located at the southeast corner of Idlewood Road and State Route C from RS-2 (single family residential) to C-1 (neighborhood commercial) . This property is on the south side of Route C and east of Idlewood Road. Properties to the west of the applicant's tract are zoned RS-2 (single family) and M-1 ( light industrial) . The property to the south and east is zoned RS-2 . All adjacent properties are vacant. Sewage treatment would have to be on-site. The planned use is a convenience store , On November 13 , 1986, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted to recommend that this request be approved. There was no opposition to the request. D. R.
