AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUIT-CLAIM DEED RELINQUISHING
ALL OF THE CITY'S INTEREST IN CERTAIN PROPERTY, DONATED TO THE
CITY FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING A STREET, TO THE PREVIOUS
OWNERS THEREOF.
WHEREAS, by a quit-claim deed dated January 22, 1971, and
recorded in Book 220, Page 919, of the Records of Cole County,
Missouri, a parcel of land described in Section 1 was donated by
Frank J. and Mildred A. Landwehr to the City of Jefferson, for
the specific purpose of constructing a street; and
WHEREAS, the City of Jefferson has not constructed a street
on the parcel of land; and
WHEREAS, the City of Jefferson has determined that the
intended street is not needed nor would any public purpose be
served by retaining the parcel; and
WHEREAS, the City of Jefferson desires to return the parcel
of land to its previous owners:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council hereby approves the
relinquishment of all of the interests of the City in the
following described parcel of land:
A strip of land sixty feet north and south off of
the south side of Lot 80 , in Landwehr Hills
Subdivision, Section 3, in the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, per plat of record in plat book 7, pages 50
and 51 and replat of record in plat book 7, pages 74
and 75, Cole County Recorder's Office. Subject to any
existing restrictions of record.
The south sixty feet conveyed of Lot 80 being more
particularly described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said Lot 80,
running thence easterly along the south line of Lot 80
one hundred eighty and eight tenths feet to the
southeast corner of said lot, thence northeasterly
along the east line of said lot a distance of sixty
feet, thence westerly approximately one hundred eighty
and eight tenths feet to the west line of said Lot 80,
thence southerly along the west line of said Lot 80
sixty feet to the point of beginning.

® Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute a quit-claim deed relinquishing all of the
interests of the City in the parcel of land described above in
Section 1 and returning said parcel of land to its previous
owners, Frank J. and Mildred A. Landwehr.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
