AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A DEED TO LINCOLN UNIVERSITY TO
CORRECT A SURVEYOR'S ERROR IN THE ORIGINAL DEED.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute a warranty deed conveying property to Lincoln
University. Said deed shall be substantially the same in form
and content as the deed attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 2. The deed authorized herein is being executed to
correct a surveyor's error in the original deed conveying the
tract of land from Lincoln University to the City of Jefferson,
Missouri. The deed hereby authorized shall only be executed and
delivered to Lincoln University upon the execution and delivery
of a deed from Lincoln University to the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, conveying the correct tract of land. Said deed shall
be substantially the same in form and content as the deed
attached hereto as Exhibit B.
® Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.

WARRANTY DEED
BY MUNICIPAL CORPORATION
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That the City of Jefferson of the
County of Cole in the State of Missouri A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION
organized and existing under the laws of the State of Missouri,
party of the first part, in consideration of one dollar and other
valuable to be paid by the Board of Curators of
Lincoln University, a corporate entity part y of the second
part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and by virtue
and in pursuance of an ordinance of the City Council of said
party df the first part, does, by these presents, GRANT, BARGAIN,
SELL, CONVEY AND CONFIRM unto the said part y of the second part
its heirs, successors, and assigns, the following described lots,
tracts or parcels of land, lying, being and situate in the County
of Callaway and State oil Missouri, to wit:
A tract of land located :Li the Southwest' Quarter of Section 14,
Township 44 North, Range 11 West, Callaway County, Missouri, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said Section 14; thence N
040 54' 17" E, along the Section Line, 566.11 feet to the north
right-of-way line of "MISSOURI ROUTE SD", (Old Missouri State
Route 94), and the true point of beginning; thence continuing N
040 54' 17" E, along the Section Line, 791.31 feet to -the
southwesterly corner of a tract as described in Boot 245 at Page
235, Callaway County Recorder' s Office; thence S 540 57 ' 30" E,
1, 539.25 feet to the southeasterly corner thereof; thence N 350
02 ' 30" E, 1,000.0 feet to the northeasterly corner thereof;

the northwesterly corner of said tract; thence leaving said tract

This conveyance is being made to correct a surveyors error in a
prior conveyance from the Board of Curators of Lincoln
University.

the rights privileges appurtenances and immunities thereto
belonging, or in anywise appertaining unto the said part
of the second part, and unto its heirs, successors, and assigns
forever. The said party of the first part hereby covenanting
that it is lawfully seized of an :Indefeasible estate in fee in
the premises herein conveyed, that it has good right to convey
the same; that the said premises are free and clear of any
encumbrance done or suffered by it or those under whom it claims,
and that it will Warrant and Defend the title of the said
premises unto the said party of the second part, and unto its
heirs, successors, and assigns forever, against the lawful claims
and demands of all persons whomsoever.

This description is written to correct a Previous
description recorded in Book 271, Page 934 of the Callaway
County Recorder's Office and dated November 16, 1984. Said
incorrect description was prepared using a previous land
survey dated June 1978. The following corrected description
was prepared using a resurvey dated September 5, 1986, which
reflects the current land measurements, remedies previous
encroachments, and upholds grantees original intent to have
