The Committee discussed site clearing for clubhouse and
parking areas. The Committee agreed to transplant valued
trees and leave those trees not occupying valuable parking
spaces. The overall layout for a parking area was determined
to be acceptable by the Committee. Trees will be marked with
no fewer than 150 parking spots available.
The Committee also agreed to the 5,000 square foot daylight
basement to be occupied by the cart rental fleet. The
Committee further discussed the importance of additional
toilets in both the men's and women's bathrooms on both
levels.
MAIN FLOOR OF CLUBHOUSE:
The Committee then discussed the design of the main floor.
Several areas of concern are listed with comments following
each topic:
A. Pro Shop: The addition of a dressing room was felt
to be appropriate.
B. Fire Place: A free standing woodstove with a fire
break was acceptable and determined to be least
expensive yet would be more than adequate.
C. Refrigeration: No walk-ins. The walk-ins would
require three-phase power, high maintenance
requirements, and costly construction. Therefore,
plenty of reach -in lockers would be acceptable.
