HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD10838 BILL NO. 87-21 SPONSORED BY COUNCILMAN WOODMAN, BORGMEYER ORDINANCE NO. 16, 67.1 X AN ORDINANCE OF THIS CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, LEVYING AND ASSESSING A SPECIAL TAX BILL AGAINST THE LOTS OR TRACTS OF LAND FRONTING AND ABUTTING FAIRLAND VILLAGE ESTATES, IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF SAID ROADWAY. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CI'T'Y OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cost price per front font as specified in Section 2 of this Ordinance, against the aggregate lots or tracts of land fronting or abutting Fairland Village Estates in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement of said roadway, the sum of $25,271.13 as the total costs of the improvement of said roadway, amounting to 6,654.40 front feet; the cost price per front foot is $7.50 per front foot on property which had no existing curb and gutters. Section 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of Amok said roadway, there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of 1p $7.50 as a special tax against each front foot of ground fronting or abutting said roadway, and contained in such lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said improved roadway. Section 3. The name of each property owner or owners and the description of each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting on each side of said roadway and the number of front feet awned by each owner or owners and contained in the lots or tracts of land so owned and abutting said roadway and the cost price per foot for said improvement and the amount hereby levied and assessed as special tax for said improvement against each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said roadway is listed as follows: AS Sharon K.
