AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE PLAT OF MALL RIDGE ADDITION - SECTION 5, A
SUBDIVISION OF' THE CITY OF JEFFERSON.
WHEREAS, Mary Julia Smith and Marjorie L. Disc, owners of the
real estate hereinafter described, having submitted to the City
Council a plat of said real estate, being located in Jefferson
City, Cole County, Missouri, and more particularly described as
follows:
Part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 4 , Township 44
North, Range 12 West , in the City of Jefferson, Cole
County, Missouri, more particularly described as
follows :
From the northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of
said Section 4; thence N 85° 57' 52" E, along the
Quarter Section Line, 1914 .89 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING for this description; thence continuing N 85°
57' 52" E, along the Quarter Section Line, 209.22 feet
to the westerly line of Scott Station Road; thence S
37° 05' 53" E, along the westerly line of Scott Station
Road, 632 .49 feet; thence S 670 24 ' 07" W, 338.53 feet;
thence S 090 50' 09" E, 403. 73 feet to the north line
of a tract of land described by deed of record in Book
228, Page 627 , Cole County Recorder' s Office; thence S
86° 52 ' 59" W, along the north line of said tract,
425.00 feet to the southeast corner of Mall Ridge
Addition - Section Four, as per plat of record in Plat
Book 11., Page 245, Cole County Recorder' s Office;
thence northerly, along the easterly line of said Mall
Ridge Addition - Section Four, on the following
courses : N 240 37' 01" W, 218. 00 feet; thence N 080
07' 01" W, 215.00 feet; thence leaving the easterly
line of said Mall Ridge Addition - Section Four, N 340
36' 16" E, 241. 13 feet; thence S 43° 30' 20" E, 65.82
, £eet; thence N 51° 54 ' 07" E, 182 .97 feet; thence S 38°
05' 53" E, 44.74 feet; thence N 54° 57 ' 17" E, 156.48
feet; thence N 420 16' 02" W, 420.85 feet to the POINT
OF BEGINNING. Containing 9. 32 acres.

WHEREAS, it appearing that said plat has been duly and
properly signed and accepted by the owner of said subdivision,
known and referred to as Mall Ridge Addition - Section 5, that
all taxes have been paid, and that in all respects the
requirements of Chapter 445, RSMo, entitled "Plats" have been
fully complied with by the owner of said subdivision, and that in
all respects the requirements of the Planning and Zoning
Commission of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relating to plats
and subdivisions have been complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI , AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The plat of Mall Ridge Addition - Section 5,
lying, being and situated within the corporate limits of the City
of Jefferson, Missouri, as shown by the said plat attached hereto
and made a part of this ordinance, is hereby approved and
accepted by the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri.
SECTION 2 . The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to endorse aceptance of said plat hereon and to
certify the approval of said plat under the seal of the City of
Jefferson.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.

STAFF REPORT
SUBDIVISION PLAT
RE: A request filed by Mary Julia Smith and Marjorie L. Dix
for approval of a final plat of Mall Ridge Addition,
Section 5.
This 9.32 acre plat is located on the west side of Scott
Station Road in the northwestern part of the City. The final
plat is for 21 single family residential lots and conforms with
the approved preliminary plat.
The final plat has been reviewed by the Departments of
Planning and Code Enforcement and Public Works . Street and sewer
improvement plans have been reviewed by the Department of Public
Works.
At its meeting of July 9 , 1987 , the Planning and Zoning
JP Commission recommended, by unanimous vote , that the plat be
approved. No one appeared to oppose the request .
