AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AMENDING THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, BY CREATING A NEW
SECTION ENTITLED TEN MINUTE PARKING, AMENDING SECTION 18-401 BY
ADDING A NEW SCHEDULE Y AND BY AMENDING SCHEDULES P (TWO HOUR
PARKING) AND Y (TEN MINUTE _PARKING) .
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Code of the he City of Jefferson, Missouri,
shall be amended by the creation of a new section to be known as
Section 18.157.1 Ten Minute Parking, which shall read as
follows:
No driver of a vehicle shall park such vehicle longer than
ten minutes on any day except Sunday or a legal holiday
during hours prescribed on any roadways as designated by
ordinance.
Section 2. Section 18.401 of the Code of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, shall be amended by the addition of a
schedule to be known as Schedule Y - Ten Minute Parking.
Section 3. Schedule P (Two Hour Parking) of Section 18.401
of the Code of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is amended as
follows:
a. by deleting the north side of the 100 block of West
High; and
b. by adding the north side of the 100 block of West
High, except the portion beginning 264 feet west of the
west curb of Jefferson Street and extending west for a
distance of 126 feet which shall be two ( 2) hour
parking except the hours of 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Monday through Friday at which time it shall be ten
( 10) minute parking.
Section 4. Schedule Y (Ten Minute Parking) of Section 18-
401 is amended by the addition of the following to ten (10)
minute parking between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. ,
Monday through Friday.
High Street, the north side thereof, beginning at a point
264 feet west of the west curb of Jefferson Street extending
west for a distance of 126 feet.
AMD Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its Passage and approval.
