AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, APPROVING A
CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH RUSSELL & AXON, INC. , BY DELETING CERTAIN
ITEMS OF WORK AND BY DECREASING THE AMOUNT OF THE CONTRACT FOR
WORK TO BE PERFORMED RELATING TO THE WASTEWATER COLLECTION
FACILITIES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
the execute an Amendment to the contract with Russell & Axon,
Inc. , for work to be performed relating to the Wastewater
Collection Facilities by deleting certain items of work and
decreasing the maximum amount of the contract from $56,800.00 to
$49,721.00.
Section 2. The Amendment shall be the same in form and
content as attached Exhibit A.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be In full force and effect
from and /after its passage and approval.

CONTRACT AMENDMENT NO. 1
This Contract Amendment No. 1 , made as of August 10, 1987, modifies
the Agreement dated May 20, 1986 between the CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI (OWNER) and RUSSELL & AXON, INC. (ENGINEER) .
OWNER and ENGINEER in consideration of their mutual covenants herein
agree in respect of the performance of professional engineering services
by ENGINEER and the payment for those services by OWNER as set
forth below.
The Agreement shall be modified as follows:
1 . Delete Paragraph 1 .7.3 of the Agreement in its entirety.
2. Amend the second sentence of Paragraph 1 .7.4 of the Agreement
by striking out the words "four visits" and adding in their place
"two visits".
3. Amend Paragraph 5.1 .1 of the Agreement by striking out
11$7,409.38" and inserting in its place 11$6,482.61".
4. Amend Paragraph 5.1 .5 of the Agreement by striking out
11$56,844.00" and inserting in its place 11$49,721 .00".
5. Delete Exhibit C of the Agreement in its entirety and insert
attached Exhibit C (Amendment No. 1) in its place.
This Amendment (consisting of pages 1 to 1 inclusive), together with
the Exhibits and schedules identified herein constitute the entire
modifications to the Agreement and supersede all prior written or oral
understandings. Prior Amendments remain in full force and effect
except as specifically modified herein. This Amendment and said
Exhibits and schedules may only be amended, supplemented, modified or
cancelled by a duly executed written instrument.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have made and executed this
Amendment as of the day and year, first above written.
