AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, PROVIDING FOR
THE REFUND OF SUCH MEMBER CONTRIBUTIONS AS WERE MADE PRIOR TO THE
ELIMINATION OF MEMBER CONTRIBUTIONS BY ELECTION UNDER THE
MISSOURI LOCAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEM.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City of Jefferson, Missouri, hereby elects
to refund any, and all accumulated member contributions to the
Missouri Local Government Employees Retirement System, resulting
from employment with the City of Jefferson, Missouri, in
accordance with the provisions of H.B. 606, Section A, 84th
General Assembly.*
Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify this election to
the Missouri Local Government Employees Retirement System within
ten ( 10) days hereof. Such election shall be effective on the
1st day of November, 1987.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its date of passage and approval

three new sections in lieu thereof, to be known as Sections
70. 635, 70.705 and 70.707.
