AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, APPROVING A
CONTRACT AMENDMENT WITH HAROLD G. BUTZER, INC. , FOR HEATING AND
AIR CONDITIONING SERVICES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
the execute an Amendment to the contract with Harold G. Butzer,
Inc. , for heating and air conditioning services by increasing the
maximum amount of the contract from $10, 500.00 to $25,000.00.
Section 2. The Amendment shall be the same in form and
content as attached Exhibit A.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and,after its passage and approval.

MODIFICATION_TO HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING CONTRACT
This Modification, made and entered into this day
of �� 1937, by and between the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, (hereinafter "City" ) and the Harold G.
Butzer, Incorporated (hereinafter "Contractor);
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, since the date the original contract between the
parties was executed, there have been substantial maintenance
problems with various units throughout tha City; and
WHEREAS, the City has already over extended its contract
amount; and
WHEREAS, the agreement stipulates that any modifications
must be with City Council approval.
NOW THEREFORE the parties agree as follows:
1. Modifications to Section 13
Section 13 is hereby amended to read as follows:
13. MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF CONTRACT: Contractor shall not
perform more than twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00)
of work in one year without first obtaining consent of the
City Council.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have set their hands and
affixed their official seals on the date first above written.
