AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING AND
AMENDING SECTION 5, REDEMPTION OF IMPOUNDED ANIMALS; DISPOSITION
OF UNREDEEMED ANIMALS OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,
MISSOURI.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 5 Redemption of impounded animals;
disposition of unredeemed animals of the Code of the City of
Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby amended as follows:
(a) The word "adopted" in Section 5, subsection c and in
the line four of subsection d is hereby changed to
"adoption" .
Section 2. Subsection (d) is hereby relettered to become
subsection (e) and a new subsection (d) is created to read as
follows:
(d) Provision shall be made for the spaying or neutering of
all dogs and cats adopted.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its date of passage and approval..
