AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, RELINQUISHING A
CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR UTILITY PURPOSES OVER LAND LOCATED IN
WESTWOODRIDGE SUBDIVISION IN JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 10826 the City vacated the right-of-
way for all of Don Ray Drive, but maintained an easement for
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City does at this time wish to relinquish said
easement;
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council finds that the following described
easement is surplus property of the City and is no longer needed
for any public purpose:
All that portion of Don Ray Drive being situated west
of Shawn Drive as shown on the plat of Westwoodridge
Subdivision, Section 7 and more particularly described'
as from the Northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter
of Section 34, Township 45, Range 12 thence North 330
23 ' 20" East, 1953. 64 feet to the real point of
IV beginning, thence continue North 330 23 ' 20" East,
thence South 330 23' 20" East, 60.70 feet, thence South
650 18 ' 10" East, 126 . 45 feet to the point of
beginning.
Section 2. The easement described in Section 1 is hereby
relinquished, and the City does hereby release and abandon
whatever interest it has in the easement.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute any necessary legal document relinquishing all of the
City's interest in the tract of ground described in Section 1.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
