AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE URBAN
AGREEMENT AS IT PERTAINS TO ST. MARY'S RIGHT OF WAY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute an amendment to the Urban Agreement as it
pertains to St. Mary's Right of Way.
Section 2. The amendment shall be substantially the same in
form and content as that amendment attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.

Amendment to Urban Agreement
AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
This agreement, made and entered into by and between
the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission, hereinafter
called "Commission, " and the City of Jefferson, a municipal
corporation in the State of Missouri, hereinafter called "City, "
WITNESSETH:
The parties have previously made and entered into an
Urban Agreement covering a public improvement designated as Route
® 54, Cole-Callaway Counties, Job No. 5-U-54-258. Said agreement,
provides for improvements which include construction of Ramps 3
and 4 at Missouri Boulevard and is hereinafter called "Original
Agreement. "
Subsequent to the signing of the Original Agreement ,
Commission made minor changes in the alignment of Ramps 3 and 4
which resulted in changes in the description of Ramps 3 and 4 in
the agreement and in the stationing shown on Exhibit B.
In consideration of the mutual covenants contained
herein, to be faithfully kept and performed by the parties here-
to, it is agreed as follows:
1. The second full paragraph on Page 4 of the Original
Agreement is hereby amended as follows:
Ramps 3 and 4 at Missouri Boulevard
Beginning at Station 7+70, Ramp 31 and
Station 4+79, Ramp 4, both points 42 feet
northeast of the center line of Dunklin
Street ; thence run in a generally northeast-
erly direction and then northwesterly direc-
tion along the base lines to .Station 12+46,
Ramp 3, and Station 10+34, Ramp 4, both
points 40 feet southwest of the center line
of Elm Street as shown on "Exhibit B" and
made a part of this agreement. The length of
the improvement on Ramp 3 is 476 feet or
0.090 mile. The length of the improvement on
Ramp 4 is 555 feet or 0.105 mile.
2. Paragraph 9 of the original agreement is hereby
amended as follows: The City shall acquire, at no cost or
expense to Commission, right-of-way for an additional turn lane
along the east side of Missouri Boulevard between Dunklin Street
and the Elm Street right-of-way along the northwest side of
Parcel H-3.
3. Commission agrees to permit reasonable curb cuts
along Missouri Boulevard between Stations 13 +14.92 and 15+00 as
shown on plans.
4. Commission shall quitclaim to City whatever
interests it may have in Miller Street and Harrison Avenue,
except as noted in Exhibit C and as contained within the right-
of-way of Missouri Boulevard. Additional right-of-way for right
turn lane shown on Exhibit C shall be acquired by City at no cost
or expense to Commission.
5. Commission shall quitclaim to City whatever
interests it may have in the existing (old) Wears Creek Channel
upon Parcel H-3 as depicted on Exhibit A of the original agree-
ment.

6. Commission shall quitclaim to City whatever
interests it may have in the vacated alley running east-west
through Parcel H-3.
7. Except as altered, amended, or supplemented herein,
the Original Agreement shall be and remain in full force and
effect.

agreement to be executed by their respective proper officials and
the City executes same pursuant to Ordinance t':r�. of said
