ORDINANCE NO. I/6O1
AN ORDINANCE RELINQUISHING A CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER
PURPOSES IN LANDWEHR HILLS SUBDIVISION IN JEFFERSON CITY,
MISSOURI.
WHEREAS, by an easement dated February 17, 1984, and
recorded in Plat Book 11, Page 176, of the Records of Cole
County, Missouri, a sewer easement was granted to the City of
Jefferson, a Municipal Corporation, to excavate within, install,
construct, maintain and repair structures for the routing and
conveyance of sewer in, under and through the lots, tracts or
parcels of land described in Section 1;
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council finds that the following described
easement is surplus property of the City and is no longer needed
for any public purpose:
Part of Lot No. 390 of Landwehr Hills Subdivision,
Section 13, as per plat of record in Plat Book 11, Page
® 176, Cole County Recorder's Office, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the southwesterly corner of said Lot 390;
thence N 740 02' 26" E, along the southerly line of
said Lot 390, 105 feet; thence N 150 57' 34" W, 11
feet; thence northwesterly in a direct line to a point
on the westerly line of said Lot 390, 41 feet northerly
of the southwesterly corner thereof; thence S 080 54'
32" E, along the westerly line of said Lot 390, 82 feet
to the point of beginning.
Section 2. The easement described in Section 1 is hereby
relinquished, and the City does hereby release and abandon
whatever interest it has in the easement.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute any necessary legal document relinquishing all of the
City's interest in the tract of ground described in Section 1.

Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
