ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN
AMENDMENT TO AN AGREEMENT WITH G. W. SERVICE
CORPORATION (D/B/A CAPITAL CITY WATER COMPANY)
REGARDING BILLING AND COLLECTING SEWER USER'S FEES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute an Amendment to an Agreement with G. W.
Service Corporation (D/B/A Capital City Water Company) regarding
the billing and collecting sewer user' s fees.
Section 2. The agreement shall be substantially the same in
form and content as that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.

Dear Ms. Cirtin:
Enclosed please find the original executed addendum between the City
of Jefferson and GW Service Corporation. This addendum allows the
City to enter into a contract with Water District No. 2 to bill sewer
service charges.

ADDENDUM
THIS ADDENDUM to the Agreeme t dated 2Aril. , 1979, as
amended May 21, 1984, made this S_ day of 1988, by
and between the City of Jefferson, a munici al corporation,
(hereinafter referred to as the "City" ), pursuant to action of
the City Council of the City of Jefferson, and G.W. Service
Corp. , a Delaware Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the
"Company" );
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the aforementioned agreement as amended between the
parties hereto expires on April 14, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to modify said agreement relating
to the billing by the Company of sewer charges by the City,
without the necessity of preparing and executing a separate
comprehensive contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, and the
following terms, covenants and conditions, it is agreed by the
parties hereto as follows:
1. The .parties promise and agree to perform all the terms
and provisions contained in the Agreement dated April 4, 1979, as
amended by addendum dated May 21, 1984, for the term hereinafter
specified, except insofar as would be inconsistent or in conflict
with the terms specified hereinbelow.
2. The term of this Addendum shall commence on the 1st day
of April, 1988, and extend until the 14th day of April, 1989.
3. The Company agrees to allow the City to contract with
Water District No. 2 to bill customers of Water District No. 2
only, for any sewer service charges assessed by the City for
residential, commercial and industrial establishments who are
serviced by Water District No. 2.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed the
foregoing instrument on the day of 1988.
