AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A UTILITY EASEMENT TO UNION
ELECTRIC COMPANY, FOR THE INSTALLATION OF AN OVERHEAD ELECTRIC
LINE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and Clerk of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, are hereby authorized to execute a utility easement to
Union Electric Company, for the installation of an overhead
electric line.
Section 2. The easement shall be substantially the same in
form and content as those easement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.

EASEMENT
Th Indenture made and entered into on the day of
19;l, by and between The City of Jefferson,
a Municipal Corporation of the County of Cole, State of Missouri,
Party of the First Part., and the Union Electric Company,
hereinafter referred to as Party of the Second Part.
WITNESSETH: That the party of the First part in consideration of
the sum of One Dollar and other good and valuable consideration to
them paid, by the party of the Second Part, the receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged, does by these presents Deed, Convey and
Transfer unto the Party of the Ze7�r�vi�'ce Part an easement for it, its
agents, employees and contract to excavate within, install,
construct, maintain, repair, a patrol an electric or
telephone communication line or lines, or both, consisting of
poles, guys, anchors, wires, cables, fixtures, and appurtenances
thereto, including transformers, on, over, across, or under the
following described land, to-wit:
Part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of
Section 11, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of
Jefferson, County of Cole, Missouri, and being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a stone at the center of said Section 11, thence
N 86°01 '43" E along the South line of the said Southwest
Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 11, 703.03
feet to the Southwest corner of a parcel as described in Book
236, Page 793, Cole County Recorder's Office; thence leaving
the said South line of the said Southwest Quarter of the
Northeast Quarter of said Section 11 on a bearing of N
05°21 '17" W and along the West line of the parcel as described
in said Book 236, Page 793, 385.99 feet to the South line of
a ten foot wide Sanitary Sewer Easement, the centerline of
said easement being described in Book 280, Page 676, Cole
County Recorder's Office; thence leaving the said West line
of the parcel as described in said Book 236, Page 793 on a
bearing of S 88 026143" W, and along the South line of the said
ten foot wide easement and the Westerly Extension thereof,
705.33 feet to the West line of the said Southwest Quarter of
the Northeast Quarter of said Section 11; thence leaving the
Westerly Extension of the South line of said ten foot wide
easement on a bearing of S 05 029108" E, and along the said
West line of the Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter
of said Section 11, 415. 76 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing in all, 281, 920.36 square feet (6.472 acres) , more
or less, subject to easements, encumbrances and restrictions,
if any, of record.
® The easement on the above described premises shall be a 20-
foot wide strip of land lying east of and abutting the entire
west property line of the above described property.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD with all the rights, immunities, privileges
and appurtenances necessary to the Party of the Second Part in
exercising its right of easement herein obtained, so that neither
the Party of the First Part nor its heirs, grantees, assigns,
or successors, nor any person or persons for it or in its
name or behalf, shall hereafter make any use of the above described
premises that is inconsistent with, or interferes with the use by
the Second Party of, the easement herein deeded. conveyed and
transferred to the Party of the Second Part.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties of the First Part have caused
these presents to be signed by its Mayor and the City seal affixed
the day and year first above mentioned.

RELEASE OF EASEMENT

WHEREAS, on the 1gth day of Jule , 19 2B_, UNION
ELECTRIC COMPANY was granted by instrument recorded in Hook 309
Page 708 , in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds for the County of
Cole • State of Missouri, an easement to locate
electric facilities on the following described premises:
Part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 11, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of
Jefferson, County of Cole, Missouri, and being more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a stone at the center of said Section 11; thence
N 86 01143" E along the South line of the said Southwest Quarter
of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 11, 703.03 feet to the
Southwest corner of a parcel as described in Book 236, Page 793,

WHEREAS, the present owners of the above described premises have
• requested that the premises be released from said easement; and
WHEREAS, it is the purpose of UNION ELECTRIC COMPANY to release
said easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, UNION ELECTRIC COMPANY, in consideration of One
Dollar ($1.00) and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt
of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby remise and release the
hereinabove described premises from all rights and interest acquired
by said Company in said easement.
