HomeMy Public PortalAboutORD11063 BILL NO. 88-39 ® SPONSORED BY COUNCILMAN WOODMAN ORDINANCE NO. f1D 53 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING REAL PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS, AUTHORIZING ITS SALE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A DEED. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, finds that the following real property is surplus property of the City, and as such represents a burdensome cost, and that the property is no longer needed for any public purpose: Tract 1: Part of Inlot 493 of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, County of Cole, more particularly described as follows: From the Southwest corner of Inlot 493, N42 000100 11E 107.00 feet to the real point of beginning, thence N42 000100 11E, 4 . 00 feet; thence S47 037115 "E, 54 . 38 feet; thence S42 000'00"W, 4.00 feet; thence N47 037115"W, 54.38 feet to the point of beginning. Tract 2: Part of Inlot 492 of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, County of Cole, more particularly described as follows: From the Southwest corner of Inlot 493, N42 000100"E, 107.00 feet to the real point of beginning, thence N42 000100"E, 4 . 00 feet; thence N47 037115 11W, 3.044 . 38 feet; thence S42 000100"W, 4.00 feet; thence S47 037115"E, 104.38 feet to the point of beginning. Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sell the property to the adjoining property owner(s) or if the adjoining property owner(s) is not interested, after publication of availability at public or private sale at the discretion of the City Administrator. Section 3. Upon sale of said property, the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a deed relinquishing all of the City's interest in the tracts of ground described in Section 1.
