ORDINANCE NO. Z/U I'T
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO OBTAIN SANITARY SEWER EASEMENTS AND TO
EXECUTE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS CONNECTED THEREWITH.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, are hereby authorized to obtain the following permanent
sanitary sewer easements and the following temporary construction
easements, and to execute any documents necessary thereto:
a. The cost of obtaining the following easements shall
not exceed $3,000.00.
A strip of land 10 feet of even width across part of the
Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 16
and across part of the southwest quarter of the southwest
quarter of Section 9, all in Township 44 North, range 12
west, in the City of Jefferson, County of Cole, Missouri;
the centerline of said 10 foot strip being more
particularly described as follows:
From the Northwest corner of the Northeast quarter of the
Northwest quarter of said Section 16; thence south 06
degrees 14 minutes 28 seconds east, along the west line
of said northeast quarter of the northwest quarter,
440.06 feet, more or less, to the beginning point of this
description; thence north 52 degrees, 17 minutes, 25
seconds west, 8.67 feet; thence north 28 degrees, 17
minutes, 25 seconds west, 282.51 feet; thence north 21
degrees, 23 minutes, 25 seconds west, 448.62 feet; thence
north 14 degrees, 53 minutes, 25 seconds west, 377.75
feet; thence north 03 degrees, 43 minutes, 25 seconds
west, 234.44 feet; thence north 54 degrees, 08 minutes,
25 seconds west, 145.06 feet; thence north 26 degrees,
36 minutes, 25 seconds west, 301.58 feet; thence north
24 degrees, 01 minutes, 25 seconds west, 176.77 feet,
more or less to a point on the north line of the
southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 9,
and the point of termination for this description.
Also, an easement of even width of 15.0 feet upon the
land located immediately adjacent to each side and
extending the full length of the 10.0 foot strip of land

® described above, for the initial construction and
installation of the aforementioned sanitary sewer
facilities; provided that this additional easement shall
expire and terminate upon completion of said sewer.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval.
