UE q AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, LEVYING AND ASSESSING A SPECIAL TAX BILL AGAINST THE LOTS OR TRACTS OF LAND FRONTING AND ABUTTING SCOTT STATION ROAD IN THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF SAID ROADWAY. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. There is hereby levied and assessed at the rate and cost price per front foot as specified in Section 2 of this Ordinance, against the aggregate lots of tracts of land fronting and abutting Scott Station Road in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the improvement of said roadway, the sum of $11,280.98 as the total costs of the improvement of said roadway, amounting to 1, 504.13 front feet; the cost price per front foot is $10.00 per front foot on property which had no existing curb and gutters. Section 2. For the purpose of paying said improvement of said roadway, there is hereby levied and assessed the sum of $10.00 as a special tax against each front foot of ground fronting or abutting said roadway, and contained in such lot or piece of ground qW fronting and abutting said improved roadway. Section 3. The name of each property owner or owners and the description of each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting on each side of said roadway and the number of front feet owned by each owner or owners and contained in the lots or tracts of land so owned and abutting said roadway and the cost price per foot for said improvement and the amount hereby levied and assessed as special tax for said improvement against each lot or piece of ground fronting or abutting said roadway is listed as follows: Mary Julia Smith, a single person & Marjorie L. Dix, a single person, Owners of property described as follows: Lots Nos. 65, 81, 82, 83, 84 and 85 of Mall Ridge Addition Section 5 in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, per plat of record in Plat Book 11, page 353, Cole County Recorder's Office. Assessment: 547.52 feet @ $7.50 per foot = $4, 106.40 David R. Goller, M. C. Rippeto and E. G. Linhardt, as tenants in common, Owners of property described as follows: ® Part of the North half of the Southwest quarter of Section 4, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, Cole County, Missouri, that lies ® easterly of Scott Station Road, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a stone at the northwest corner of the Southwest quarter of said Section 4; thence North 84 degrees 15 minutes east, along the north line of the North half of the Southwest quarter of said Section 4, 2193.90 feet, to the easterly line of Scott Station Road, and the beginning point of this description; thence North 84 degrees, 15 minutes east, along said north line, 650.57 feet, to the west line of the Southeast quarter of Section 4; thence South 4 degrees 34 minutes east, 731.8 feet, to the north line of the Ten Mile Drive; thence along the north line of the Ten Mile Drive, to a point where the said north line of the Ten Mile Drive intersects with the east line of Scott Station Road; thence north along the east line of Scott Station Road, 956.0 feet, to the beginning point of this description; except that part conveyed to the City of Jefferson for road right-of-way purposes. Assessment: 775.63 feet @ $7.50 per foot = $5,817.23 Mary Julia Smith, a single person & Marjorie L. Dix, a single person, Owners of property described as follows: Part of the Southwest quarter of Section 4, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri, ® more particularly described as follows: From the northwest corner of the Southwest quarter of said Section 4; thence North 85 degrees 57' 52 11E, along the Quarter Section Line, 2124.11 feet to the westerly line of Scott Station Road; thence South 37 degrees 05 ' 53" East, along the westerly line of said Scott Station Road, 632.49 feet to the point of beginning for this description; thence continuing South 37 degrees 05' 53" East, along the westerly line of said Scott Station Road, 180.98 feet; thence Southeasterly, along the westerly line of said Scott Station Road, on a curve to the right, having a radius of 884.94 feet, an arc distance of 87.13 feet to the most northerly corner of a tract described by deed of record in Book 278, page 37, Cole County Recorder's Office; thence South 39 degrees 18' 24" West, along the westerly 'line of said tract, 390.65 feet to the north line of another tract described by deed of record in Book 228, Page 627, Cole County Recorder's Office; thence South 86 degrees 52' 59" West, along the north line of the last mentioned tract, 153.09 feet; thence North 09 degrees 50' 09" West, 403.73 feet, thence North 67 degrees 24' 07" East, 338.53 feet to the point of beginning. Assessment: 180.98 feet at $7.50 per foot = $1,357.35 Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to make out special tax bills in favor of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, for the above mentioned work in accordance with the ordinances of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, relative to said kind of work in accordance with the Ordinance of said City in regard to said work.
