AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, ACCEPTING AND
APPROVING THE DEDICATION OF HOBBS ROAD AS A PUBLIC STREET.
WHEREAS, a conveyance of a street designated as Hobbs Road,
a street shown on the plat of Hobbs Woods Subdivision as recorded
in Plat Book 9 at page 21 in the Cole County Recorder' s Office, has
been presented to the City; and
WHEREAS, Hobbs Road was designated on said plat as a private
street with a reservation in the developer of the right to dedicate
the street to the City of Jefferson; and
WHEREAS, the property owners of the lots abutting Hobbs Road
have collected and deposited with the City such sums as are
required to bring Hobbs Road into compliance with the street
standards of the City of Jefferson, Missouri; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City and the public
that Hobbs Road be accepted as a public street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT Enacted by the Council of the City of
® Jefferson, Missouri, as follows:
Section 1. Hobbs Road, a street as shown on the plat of Hobbs
Woods Subdivision as recorded in Plat Rook 9 at page 21 in the Cole
County Recorder's Office, lying, being and situated within the
corporate Limits of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, is hereby
approved and accepted by the City Council of the City of Jefferson,
Missouri, as a public street.
Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to endorse acceptance of said street on the conveyance and
to certify the acceptance and approval of said street under the
seal of the City of Jefferson on any and all documents as
necessary.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage and approval. /
