ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, CHANGING, AMENDING AND
MODIFYING THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS INCOR-
PORATED INTO ORDINANCE NUMBER 5880, BY REZONING CERTAIN SPECIFICALLY
DESCRIBED LAND FROM DISTRICT "I" LIGHT INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION TO
DISTRICT "H" BUSINESS CLASSIFICATION.
WHEREAS, The City Planning and Zoning Commission, after hearing,
study and consideration, by its report to the City Council, recommended
that land hereinafter described should be rezoned as hereinafter stated,

WHEREAS, the City of Jefferson, Missouri has public hearing 70 &,A4b
{ty`' on the 5th day of February, 196$ to hear the views of all interested per-
sons on the issue of whether the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning
Commission should be approved or rejected, after first giving due notice,
in a newspaper of general circulation within the city more than fifteen
days prior to the date of the hearing, of the subject matter, time and
place of the hearing, and inviting all interested persons to appear at the
hearing and be heard, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, has
conducted the hearing and, after hearing the views of all persons express-
ing themselves on the matter and considering the recommendation of the
Planning and Zoning Commission, has concluded that it would be in the
public interest of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, to approve the recom-
mendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission and rezone the following
described land as petitioned, now therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The zoning map of the City of Jefferson, Missouri, as

y incorporated into Ordinance Number 5880, as amended, of said city, is
hereby changed, amended and modified to reflect the rezoning of the fol-
lowing-described property from District "I" Light Industrial Classification
to District "H" Business Classification, and the following-described pro-
perty is, and it is hereby, rezoned accordingly:
"Inlots Nos. 811, 812, 813, 815, 816, 817 and 818 in
the City of Jefferson, Missouri."

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
