AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 20-106 REGARDING A PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES CONTRACT FOR EXPERT ACCOUNTING SERVICES
WITH LERCH, VINCI & HIGGINS, LLP
WHEREAS, by Resolution #20 -106 adopted on July 23, 2020, the Borough of Carteret
(the "Borough") authorized a professional services contract with Lerch, Vinci & Higgins,
LLP, for expert forensic accounting services with regard pending negotiations and
arbitration proceedings with FMBA Local 67; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has been advised by the Borough's Law Director that said
authorization needs to be increased by an additional four thousand dollars for said
purposes.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. That the authorization for professional services with the accounting firm
of Lerch, Vinci & Higgins, LLP, in accordance with the previously
adopted Resolution 420 -106 is hereby increased by an additional four
thousand dollars, subject to all of the other conditions provided for therein.
