Perry, Secretary; Girard Healy, Treasurer; Members -at -large, Dave lannitelli, Rebecca Alvin, Jan Crocker, and Eric Bohn Treasurer Girard Healy called the meeting to order at 5:00 pm. Members present or attending via zoom: Clare 0 'Connor -Rice, Girard Healy, Richard Perry, Rebecca Alvin and Jan Crocker. Minutes of the January 9, 2023 meeting were approved. Treasurer Girard Healy said the Council had $845 on hand and expected to receive the $7,000 state grant obtain, by the efforts of Clare O'Connor Rice. Discussion of the'W ' Literary Night by Rebecca Alvin. The board agreed to postpone the event to October or November. Some kind of panel discussion as opposed to readings seemed to be the consensus. A proposal for the Council to sponsor an event "Putting down Stakes" at Brewster in Bloom weekend of May 5 to 7 at the Sea Camp property was put forward by Becky Kiszka involving staked lawn decorations - cutouts of local endangered species to be made by Sunshine Singleton and painted by young volunteers at Brewster in Bloom. Claire, Becky and Jan will consult with Suns�hine and get particulars and a price and report back at the next meeting. Mike Gradone has stakes we can use. Girard discussed the draft of the Strategic Plan. Jan suggested minor additions. Discussion on how to spend the x$7,000 was begun with no consensus. Artist pot luck dinners and a Facebook Council page wasdiscussed. The town is close�ilto revamping its web site and the council will have a page which may suffice. Girard and Rebecta will look into issues of Town Website and the Strategic Plan survey, The next meeting., -is scheduled for March 13, 2023 at 5 pm. The meeting was,pdjourned at 5:53 pm.
